That is how I am feeling today. Its okay to have these days. I don't have them very often, but I guess I am due for one and today is that day.  I had one of the greatest workouts last night. One of the hardest we have ever done!! When it is a kickboxing night we get home pretty late. On those nights I normally don't have anything to eat except my protein shake. Well, I made it when I got home, drank it, put the kiddos to bed and off to the shower I went. I typically weigh myself before I go to bed, just to gauge how my day was affected by my food choices and workout. It was not a pretty sight when I hopped on that scale. I was up 4 pounds.  Whoa! Weight can fluctuate between 1-5 pounds within a day, but I wasn't expecting that. I have never gone over 2 pounds, so of course, I wanted to know what I did wrong for the day.


By looking at my food diary, I think I only made one horrible food choice yesterday and it really wasn't that bad, but it did cause me to go way over my sodium intake and oh boy, do I definitely feel like crap today. That would be my lunch. I tried and tried to chug down as much water as I could to help flush the sodium out of my system, but it didn't help.  So, this morning, I was up 1.4 pounds from my weigh in. So much for that loss I had yesterday morning. I know all I need to do is eat clean today and watch my sodium intake and I will be back down to normal, but its just pissing.   Below is a link to my food diary from yesterday, just to show you how a high sodium intake can affect your weight.

I may be a little hard on myself, but luckily, I am looking forward to my scheduled massage this afternoon and then on to my great workout planned for tonight, Insanity Max Cardio Conditioning.   It's a butt kicker!! I am ready for a new day tomorrow and not going to let this day bring me down.
